So I recently bought the Aerosoft Do-27 and am loving it to death.. however I've found that the oil temperature likes to run high.. very high actually.  During climb I've seen it on or just past redline, during cruise its at a good 100-110 degrees and during my last landing it was up at 120 degrees (redline is 113*) Ive kept the oil level at a good level and performed maintenance after my flight and nothing came up. So I'm wondering what could be causing it to run so hot?

Cowl flap is often open full during flight to keep it cool and I've kept the rpm and manifold pressure right where they recommend. Any ideas?

Tried that. Only thing that came up on the list was to clean the windows.

Sounds like air flow to the oil cooler is insufficient - any doors?  Sometimes those are adjustable for seasonal conditions.  Or you may have slipped a bearing  Smiley.
