I've got a very flyable A318-100 in Aero Atlantico livery that I've transfered from my Dell via a pen drive.  Everything works beautifully except the nav lights, so I must be missing that file.  The aircraft cfg has AD318_ in various guises in the lights section.  Would the gauge I think I'm missing be labeled AD318 ?   I've searched for another download but can't find this aircraft.

[Lights] are effects, not gauges. .

You'll be looking for *.fx files of that name form in the ...\Effects\ folder. Example might be 'A318_navred.fx'

You might also want to check the [Effects] and [Smokesystem] sections ,if present, to see if they list 'custom' effects.

Just to add to Dave's comments, some effects call for textures which would be found in the texture folder within the effects folder, i.e. FS9\effects\texture.

To verify which bitmaps you need you can open any effects file (*.fx) with Notepad. As you scroll through it you will see which bitmaps it calls for.

Sorry - I should have typed fx files not gauge.
As nothing seemed to work whatever I did I wondered what would happen if I reassigned the lights to another aircraft ?  I did & it worked  Roll Eyes
