So, is there really any point to upgrading to Win7 64 bit to run FS2004???

If i've got it right, FS2004 will be able to use 4gb of ram for itself, instead of the 2gb it currently uses in 32 bit??

I have 2.5ghz Quad core and 4Gb ram on Windows vista 32 and 1gb Graphics card. My indicated 'spare' ram is a shade over 2gb for running stuff, so, would getting myself a total of 6gb ram and Win7 64 be a smart move and give me more performance in FS2004??

It allready runs very nicely, but theres allways room for more. But is it worth the trouble i AM  Cheesy going to have installing it and the new drivers i might need.???

*Edit to add specs.

FS9 won't use more than 2gb memory because of the program itself, not the OS.

You can edit the fs9.exe to use more than 2gb of memory, but I forgot how to do that. You can google it though.

Thats a no then. I didn't want to mess about with stuff i don't understand so I guess I will stick with 32bit for now. Im guessing FSX can make use of the 4gb?? offered on the 64bit OS, which is allways something to look at.

Thanks for the reply.
