I think that would make it freeware then, instead of it being a payware program being used to gain an advantage. Not sure if you would have to have the EZ program in order to use the scenery. If so, then it's still considered a payware addon to the shot, as far as the rule states its use.
I believe all you would have to do is download my .bgl and then the balloon library for it to work.

By reading this topic am I to assume that using any freeware addon that was created with a payware product is grounds for disqualification?
That is what is being said here.
How the heck do you plan on policing that?

Joe

Well for starters, he admitted to using it, and that's how the topic came up. And generally how it would be policed (we're a fairly honest bunch.
).

Not if it's freely available, and the program that created it is not needed to run it.
If you use a payware scenery creator to create a scenery for the express purpose of trying to win a contest, then that is considered payware.
However, if you don't need the program to run it, and he uploaded it as freeware, then it's OK, because everyone now has that same option available to them.
The spirit of the competition is Freeware based, so that's why we take such a hard line on payware of any kind in this contest. It's also the best way to assure a level playing field for everyone who enters.

I guess I'll upload it as soon as possible then.
I made it a while ago and never thought about uploading it.
