Doesn't have to be an attachment, it can go right in your post using the image tags.

(put extra spaces next to letters so my demonstration of what the tags look like shows up in the post.

That's what I did the first time. Now I'm confused.

Apparently not, since you opted to put it in as an attachment.
Just post the web address of the uploaded image with the "image tags" flanking the image on either side right in the text portion of your post.
Look at the other member's screenshot posts here. Their shots are directly in the post.

Perhaps Sean should have explained that you upload image files to the server from the Upload Images link above the forum menu bar. http://www.simviation.com/yabbupload.html
Full instructions are on the page.

Not sure why we have that file Attachment feature. Nobody ever uses it.

It's a beautiful shot.   Smiley  As said above, in the future be sure to upload your images to the SimV server before posting them.  If you get confused with the instructions just ask and there are plenty of members and mods here happy to answer you.

Ok so I guess I'm missing the part about uploading to Simviation server first. The first time I put in the pic and did exactly what you are telling me now but I used a direct link from imageshack (the image was right in the post).  So where do I upload the image?

Thank you Hagar. Please mods excuse me as this is my first time posting a pic in these forums.

Grin  I do this sometimes as well.  I just change the name of the file using a 1 or something at the end of the file and re-upload.  Be sure to remember the file name or immediately copy and paste before closing the upload page  Wink
