THE OCTOBER PAYWARE SCREENSHOT

CONTEST

This Month's Theme Is Titled...

"Grounded!!"

That's right... get out those payware toys!
It's time to create a spectacular work of art worth paying for!

Sometimes, it's just a good idea to stay on the ground. Be it bad weather, maintainance problems, a bad bird infestation at the field, we would like to see a great looking shot of your plane parked somewhere, with enough scenery in the shot to know why it's parked there. Wink

Any PAYWARE Aircraft or Scenery will qualify.

Please see example below...

...

...

There are no payware prizes here, you already own those! We offer  pride in knowing that your money was well spent!
And a shot at having your name permanently placed on the winners board.

...

Good Luck to All and Thanks for playing!

PLEASE SEE NEXT POST FOR THIS MONTH'S RULES!

THE RULES

...

Contest starts October 12th, 2009
and ends October 25th, 2009.

**
Linking images to other sites is NOT allowed and STRICTLY ENFORCED!**

1. All images Must BE NO WIDER THAN 1024 AND NOT MORE THAN 150KB IN WIEGHT! No cropping, editing or adjusting your shot!! Any images over 150 kb in weight, and wider than 1024 will not be VALID!  This rule is now being enforced since This is a Screenshot Contest and we "want to see the RAW shot!" All entries must be uploaded to SimV.

2.
ONLY ONE ENTRY PER MEMBER!
Post your link without image tags so the thread limit doesn’t get hammered. Or, if you prefer, a thumbnail of about 5 kb. Post it in this thread, below.

3. Screenshots from FS98, FS2000, FS2002, FS2004, FSX & CFS series only please!!

4. Once an entry is submitted, it may not be changed or replaced.  This is to keep the confusion to a minimum, and to maintain forum integrity.  Entries may be withdrawn from the contest, but no additional entries from that member will be accepted.

5. Entries may not be edited in any way.  Any entry discovered to have been edited will be disqualified and the image removed from the contest.

6. After the contest has ended and the judges have decided on the "Finalists", a "POLL" type thread will be started . It will explain that the Poll will be closed within 48 hours. You must note the Post Time of this thread to know when it will close! This will allow the members to now vote for their favorite shot from the ones the judges have picked!

7. After 48 hours from the time the Finalist Announcement is made, the POLL will be closed and the Winner announced!

My entry:

An Easyjet Airbus A319 is stuck at Innsbruck due to low visibility, thunderstorms, heavy snowfall and slippery and snowy taxiways and runways.

If you're wondering what MGA is there for, they are my initials and I include them sometimes in case some other people has already taken that filename without me knowing about it. I also include them in case anyone wants the same kind of file name. :3

Very nice entry! Just wondering, what part was the payware... is it the plane, the scenery, and the weather?

United at the gate. Majority of the shot is freeware but the scenery is what makes it payware.

Is there any way to petition a larger image size restriction? the 150K is really the death of some really nice shots. Is at least 250K too much to ask? you allow 250K for attachments Wink
