WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge SeanTK has spoken and his choices are as follows:

Patchz!!

...

"The originality of this one caught my eye. Although perhaps needing some better adjustment of the light on the cut-out aircraft in order to blend in to the background better, the general scene and situation of the image was very enjoyable! A busy seaplane ramp! I did not expect to see that!"

CONGRATULATIONS Patchz!!!!

"ManuelL takes second place!"

...

"Pure international hub activity at its finest! I love the detail in this image and all of the activity going on in the background. A flip of a coin between this and Patches' image decided the winner today!"

ApplePie takes home third place!

...

"This one has a great angle and some nice touches to it. I love the blurring of the aircraft departing in the background. The one thing that took away from this shot was the darkness of it as a whole. It was difficult to make out a lot of details in it, especially in the foreground, without having to really work at it. I would love to see a shot like this during a different time of day."

Nice work on a great comp!

A note to the others:
"A fine representation throughout this week's competition! Always strive to achieve realism in your shots, and when doing edits/composites, take your time and put your best work forward. Remember that we can all learn from eachother, and each one of us, no matter how good we think we are at this, is capable of improving greatly!
Congrats to the top three!"

Patchz is on the bench this week! Can't wait to see what brings to the table. Smiley
A big congratulations to the other finalists, and great job to all that entered.

Cheers

Mitch.

Thanks Chris. I had a great photo to work with.  Smiley
I envy you, in that I have never had the opportunity to visit Alaska. If it were not for photos, tv, and FS, I would have no idea of the beauty there. It is one of the places on my 'bucket list', but I doubt I will ever make it.  Sad

Thanks guys. There were some great shots this time. I just got lucky and found a great photo to use for a composite background. I'm off to fine tune my idea for the next comp. I'll get the info to Mitch ASAP.
I love winning, but I hate judging. Y'all make it so dang difficult to choose.  Grin
