Simviation Forum - Celebration flight

I did this flight because I have two things to celebrate:

1. It's finally the weekend, and
2. I'm getting great grades in school.

So here's the deal. The norwegian grade system is as follows:
1 and its variants (1-, 1, 1+ and 1/2 (1 to 2)) = Pretty bad.
2 and its variants (2-, 2, 2+, 2/1 (2/1) and 2/3) = Not all that good either.
3 and its variants (3-, 3, 3+, 3/2 and 3/4) Not all that good, but not all that bad either.
4 and its variants (4-, 4, 4+, 4/3 and 4/5) Good.
5 and its variants (5-, 5, 5+, 5/4 and 5/6) Very good.
6 and its variants (6-, 6, and 6/5) OMGBBQAWSOME! These are very rare though.

So here's the drill. My lowest grade so far (Since school started in week 34 IIRC) is a 4+. That's pretty god darn awesome. Cheesy

I've been getting a lot of 5s and 5-es. So i'm very happy about my current school situation. (Maths = BLAH though)

Anyway, to the shots. This is a NW DC-9 flight from eh.. Detroit to Minneapolis.

Steep takeoff out of Detroit Cheesy

I don't know why, but this is probably my favorite shot of all time. It's just so.. moody.

The sun peeking up over the horizon.

Descending into a sunny Minneapolis.

Turning right to line up with the runway..

.. soon followed by a smoooooth touchdown on 30L.

At the gate. MSP sure is NW heaven LOL

Great shots and congratulations on the grades!
It's also interesting that you flew to what is considered by many to be the Norwegian/Scandinavian epicenter of the US!

P.S. May the images of Northwest Airlines never die out on these forums! They are/were my favorite!
