I've been playing guitar for...whew, 48 years. I used to play a little organ as well, but that was a long time ago. I played in rock bands growing up. Ah, the 60s. I still play some old rock and contemporary country, but like Paul, mostly just for my own entertainment. I've got a Fender Telecaster and a Takamine EF325 SRC, Fender Power Chorus amp, Digitech RP1 fx processor, Peavey XR600 PA, Kawaii GB2 session trainer (my band in a box) with a Brother PDC100 sequencer, and a partridge in a pear tree. I used to teach beginner and intermediate lessons and I have written around twenty songs, none published. I once had hopes, but it's next to impossible unless you spend time in Nashville or have an in with somebody in the industry. But, it's all been fun, and I still enjoy playing.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
