Olivier Marechal was working on a Sonex using FS Design Studio, but the project was never finished.  I'm willing to pay anyone here to finish the project and release it for FSX.  Any takers?

There's a Sonex for X-Plane.  If it can be ported over to FSX I'd be interested in it also.

I'll pay good coin for either one.  I'm serious.  This is not BS.

I'd love to get my hands on one too and I think my user name verifies that!   Grin

Unless you have managed to get his source files your builder would be starting from scratch. Modeling for FSX is pretty involved if you want a quality model. You might need a pretty big wallet Wink

Although I model homebuilts I'm afraid I have no interest in special orders.

I would like to think a reputable builder from here could get the source files using his good name and carry on from there.

I want a top quality model and I will pay top dollar.

It really does not work that way very often. That's an old mesh that would have been designed for a version prior to FSX. If I were to do this plane frankly I would start from scratch as I have found that trying to get old mesh to look good in FSX tends to be more trouble than it is worth.

I could do one. Full Bore down to custom gauges and a very detailed VC...and it would cost you over a grand easy. That would also come with an agreement that you can't sell it without paying royalties to me.

My advice is to start learning how to make one yourself. We all started by thinking "I sure would like to have a ____for FS". There is a lot of help available to get you going, and you might end up with a cool custom Sonex at the end that only cost you time! Wink

Hi,

Happy to read that somebody knows me and my work in progress  Wink

Actually my Sonex was on hold because I have switched from Windows to MAC OS X a year ago.

Anyway I am sucked by X-Plane and Austin MEYER policy with designers Angry

Therefore I am going back to my Sonex for FSX.

At the moment most of 3D external parts are done, except small but important details. I am strating to build 3D internal parts to be included in the VC.

My target is to design a bi-cyle, a tri-cycle, a float and a sky versions, with cross and V tail. I have already all official documents from SONEX (i.e. 3 view Drawings, logos, pictures and DVD). Of course it takes time.

Have a look to the below screenshots.

Hope that you will appreciate the above and you will put me under pressure to complete my project.

Sincerely.

Does it means that I can sell my Sonex at $35,000 Cheesy ?

Let me say that FS designer is not the right way to make money.
It gives a lot of fun and few coins to udgrade computer.
Most of us have a "real" job out there.
