WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge Frequent Flyer says :

"First off, I'd like to thank all members who precipitated in this JC. You all did an outstanding job, and left a great impression on me!
This was my first JC and was a great experience, so thank you!

As usual, there were superb shots here... Choosing 3 wasn't easy at all."

SeanTK!!

...

"Although the shot was taken in New York, my first impression of it was "That's in Russia".
This shot gave me a great feeling of "Being there".
The reflection on the ground is perfect. The atmosphere of the shot makes the aircraft look 'lonely' - far away from all other aircraft. It looks to me like this aircraft will soon start crying
Well done SeanTK Cool!!"

CONGRATULATIONS SeanTK!!!!

"Mictheslik takes second place!"

...

"The ground looks real, the Helicopter looks real. Not much to say
You get the second place for both a great shot and 'out of the box' thinking.
Well done!!"

Third place is for Skoker!

...

"That's a great edit! The background blurring as well as the low angle give a great sense of speed. You've done a great job choosing which parts to blur and which not to. The impressive clouds add a great finishing touch to this shot.
Good job."

Nice work on a great comp!

SeanTK is on the bench this week! Can't wait to see what he comes up with for a theme. Smiley
A big congratulations to the other finalists, and great job to all that entered.

Cheers

Mitch.

cantflywontfly,

Your image shows a Tu-154M of Siberia Airlines (now branded as S7). That is not Aeroflot Airlines.  Wink

On a side note, unfortunately S7/Siberia no longer has any Russian-manufactured aircraft in their fleet including the -154.

Never heard of Simdim before, but they seem to have the best freeware around  Cheesy
Are their models fsx compatible? They didn't write anything regarding fsx/fs9 compatibility...

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The exterior model's transfer to FSX alright, but the panel has limited function in FSX and some gauges might not work. Sounds are fine, handling is fine. Plus unless you can read Russian you will have a hard time finding most switches. Wink
