Good afternoon all... Smiley

I bought Flight 1 Software Ground Environment X, USA Canada Alaska several weeks ago.
It is installed and working properly but lacks amphibous aircraft at docks, docks and buildings right where one would expect to see them and where they are in the Canada Flight Supplements including the Water Aerodrome Supplement.

I wonder if anyone could update some of these locations for southern and northern Ontario Canada?  Perhaps add some float aircraft as well.

Just a thought.   Smiley

Not Ontario, but......

'Mocat's' Snow Dog Tours-140 (mostly) float and amphib bases in SE and mainland Alaska. 'FSX Snow Dog Tours Version 2.0'-http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=63&page=2&mark=443

To avoid a couple conflicts with Tongass, place Snow Dog scenery below Tongass in the Scenery Library-Priority List. It's mentioned in the Tongass manual.

Good afternoon all... Smiley

Dave I downloaded "Snow Dog Tours" and it is in FSX scenery files.
Works great...I see lots of new float bases and some float aircraft like red Cessna 185s and yellow Piper Cubs at some of the docks.  Smiley

I am using "Nicks" FSX setting which for general aircraft is 59%.  I am wondering about increasing that say to 75% and hope to see some more float aircraft landing and taking off.
Any comments on that idea would be most appreciated... Smiley

Also just downloaded the new version of nHancer Advanced nvidia control utility and I am hoping it works automatically when I start FSX.  It says it is installed.

Dave I found "Tongass" but I think it is payware, it that correct?

I have a couple of more questions but I think they should be in the FSX Forum so I shall ask them there.

System is starting to look better...thanks all.... Smiley    Wink

Doug,

The floats you see at the docks are static objects, not ai, so the traffic slider will have no effect. Though Mocat did include repaints for several popular aircraft, he did not include any ai aircraft or ai flightplans.

Tongass is a great payware addon if you're into payware. The authors  are well known for their excellent work, both payware and freeware. A freeware example of their work is FSX Victoria, Canada . 2 part download here-http://www.simviation.com/fsxscenery11.htm
