I exported a helicopter model from Gmax, and realized it was way to big. So I went in to GMax, resized, exported, restarted FSX, and the helicopter was still the same size. How do I get it to be smaller?
And I did replace the MDL file with the correctly sized one.

For starters, make sure that your "system units" settings are 1 unit=1meter.
(It doesn't really matter what your modelling untis are, but the *system* units must be set to 1unit-1m)
(Customize->Preferences then under the "general" tab, System Unit Scale set to 1 unit = 1 meter)
