Hey, I thought I'd recommend a few freewares to anybody looking for some nice planes, either new or old Fligh simmers for FSX. These freeware that I'll be listing are actually pretty good for freeware that would make it seem worthy to compete with payware planes :p.

Sorry if its all flightsim.com links but its much easier to search. I could switch it to Simviation links, if needed. (edit: Added in Simviation links)

----------------------

- Piaggio P-180 Avanti (Ferrari of the Sky - casual)
http://flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=109244
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props57.htm (Bottom of page)
This rear facing mini-propeller plane is nicknamed the Ferrari of the Sky and is made by the Italians. This plane model has many beautiful textures to choose from and boasts a highly detailed interior, along with a Virtual cockpit.

- Mitsubishi F-2A - Military Aircraft
http://flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=123108
http://www.simviation.com/fsxmilitary24.htm
A modern Japanese military jet, F-2A. It looks similar to its American counterpart and looks just as amazing when ported over from F2004 into FSX. The attention payed to detail is shown with this aircraft with its fully detailed Virtual cockpit and various textures to choose from.

- Nardi FN-333 Riviera - sports/casual
http://flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=116721
http://www.simviation.com/fsxprops11.htm (I'm assuming its this one.)
A nice little amphibious plane with sweet textures and details. Even flying it for a short period it handles nicely within FSX. If you know of any better then feel free to link it up.
- Honorable mentions:
- Grizzly (Canadian Military - http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military148.htm)
- projectopensky.com (passenger & Military)
- De Havilland DHC-5 Buffalo Canadian Search and Rescue
- Rausenbauer Panther 8x8 (Airport firetrucks with traffic map)
- Sukhoi SU-34 (Russian Fighter)
- Toyota Lexus LS430 (Leisure/Car, I found this to handle better then any other car out there.)

----------------------
I'll be editing the above (if I get responses) so feel free to share any high quality, or decent quality, freewares planes that you would recommend for other Flight Sim X'ers Smiley

Speaking of which, anybody know of any good quality Japanese WW2 planes? I have a Zero but I'm looking for a FSX Shinden and similar.

Done Tongue.

edit:
Nvm, got the cd to repair the files for me as I was somewhat impatient. Though, if you did upload that 747-400 default files it would come in handy as I keep trying to make these skins work  Grin. Now back to you guys and recommending some cool high quality freeware planes Smiley.
