What is involved in making photo scenery?

Say I wanted to make some for the county I live in, what do I need to do to get started?

Thanks for any help.  Smiley

Use FSEarth Tiles. I forget where I got it from, but it works pretty well. If nothing else, you can use it to get source photos.

I've been searching for something to make photoreal for a while. Never found anything until you posted that. I think this is what you are talking about:

I might have to give it a try.

Cool

I am intrigued about doing this too.  I downloaded it, but can't seem to figure out how to import images into FSEarth Tiles.  The manual is full of helpful suggestions like "google" how to do it.  I have and am still frustrated.

Does anyone know how to get the source images into the program?
