Is anyone familiar or know anything about  a new flight sim being advertised on this site.  Sounds too good to be true.  If it's half as good as it sounds it would probably be worth it.
Looking forward to any and all replies.

Thanks,
Bill

Here is the web site: http://www.flightprosim.com/

Looks interesting, but I would have to see it in person and actually try it, before I'd part with cash for it.

The screenshots they provide are really small, and are useless for seeing real detail.

Honestly, it doesn't look much better than FlightGear(and some of it looks just like FlightGear), and that's available for free.  Wink

That was my feeling.  "If it looks too good to be true it probably is.  Definitely would have to see a video of this first.  Thanks for responding.

If you look at the comparison between the Real Life photos versus the Flight Pro Sim screen shots, note the difference.....

I had the same problem with the California/Nevada/Arizona, etc, scenery in my FS 2004, (where I spend most of my flight time).
In real live the ground textures are brighter (and dustier), as can be seen from real photographs, NOT the lush green textures of the default scenery.
I cured this to some extent by "brightening" the overall textures with the aid of Ground Environment Pro's RGB "colour" modifications, (and slightly reducing the Autogen complexity).
It works fine for areas of the World which can be dry and dusty at times.
I generally find that the default ground scenery is far too "dark", and does not represent a bright sunshine day... Sad...!
Brightening up the overall scenery areas gives a more realistic representation of real life Summer textures!

That's the thing I never liked about FS9. The textures are dark and it never really feels like it's day. In FSX, everything is so bright and colorful... It just feels right.

I had to purchase "Ground Environment Pro" to enable me to brighten up (Colorize) the scenery Textures in FS 2004 by altering the RGB, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, etc, values to suit the amount of "Sunshine" I wished.
It worked out OK, and only affects FS 2004, (not the Desktop), but I am wondering if there is a Freeware Program out there to achieve the same effect in FS 2004?

...any ideas/suggestions?
