His interview from the santander announcement, is rather puzzling. Ok all his interviews are. But his statements on drivers is especially "intriging".

Firstly.
"Q. What about the rumours about Fernando Alonso?

LDM: You are very young, I am very old, and this is old news. Every year it is the same. We have two drivers, now three, plus also we are close to having Michael so we have a lot of drivers – this is not a problem for us now."

Two very interesting points here. I think he all but confirms he has Alonso signed up for the future. But is also saying next year he's already got his drivers confirmed. The Michael thing can come back on that next. But that quote at the end. "this is not a problem for us now", Which to me suggests maybe it will be in the future. I cant believe its a translation issue as Luca's english is very good.

Secondly this.
"Q. Would you still like to see Michael Schumacher back one day?

LDM: I told him last night and this morning in my office in Maranello to be careful with his motorcycle racing – you are going too far and you have to be fit sooner or later to be back in F1."

Two things, LDM has always encouraged Michael to do the bike things, he's been present for numerous events, and I think he saw it as a way to distract Michael from the F1 side of his nature. the use of the words, have to be fit to be back in F1 suggests maybe he's relying on Schumi being in the car.
Ferrari have no drivers in theory, signed for 2011. So I can perhaps only think that Michaels doctors have given him a course of treatment that may take a year or so to heal, and Ldm is reminding him of that, and maybe Michael is signed to take one seat, and that Fernando Is signed to the second seat to partner him.
Or theory two, could Ferrari be looking at a second team? Mercedes are buying into Brawn, which will almost make them a Mclaren B team. If this crashing thing Gives Renault the excuse to leave they seem to want. Could Ferrari, buy the team out. Keep Fernando there for a year, and perhaps put Michael in there.
there is definitly something big going down in maranello. I wouldn't rule out sauber also being an option, as they've had strong ferrari ties.
