I tried connecting and "all players could not connect".
That's weird, because there are currently 4 other people online. It seems like I can only connect when Shane is the only person online.

Actually, Applepie, i've had that too before. I actually found the problem for me was that I had too many aplications running and it was hogging my internet connection. Try to close all your internet dependant apps befor you fly.
That and someone didn't have their ports right...

I'll try to hop on sometime around 4pm US Eastern.
Just purchased Carenado's brilliant PA-34 Seneca for FSX, so I'll be flying with that! Not sure what location yet.
EDIT: I'll say 4:30pm at this point. Will be flying the Carenado Seneca. Location: Either Tasmania or Florida Keys area.

I reckon...
....after about an hour or so, on Multiplayer, my Central Processor, Graphics Card, Memory Modules, etc, etc, all club together, and go into their "Sulk Mode", wherein the whole system locks-up and no amount of prodding and poking the keys on the keyboard has any effect whatsoever in waking them from their annoying slumber!...
...!
By the time I have reset the computer, cursed it, reloaded the Sim, and joined Multiplayer again...
....everyone has gone Home!...

I don't think that's the case though, because I joined earlier and I was running both FS and firefox at the same time.

Does this happen offline too?
If so.... sounds like maybe heat issues.

I keep a careful watch on the Processor and GPU temperatures, and monitoring them. Lots of air circulating fans, and heat sinks well bedded down.
My Hard drive is getting a bit overcrowded now, and what seems to happen sometimes is; if I am quietly running a program, and suddenly call up another program to run alongside it, the system gets confused with all the Multitasking going on, and gives up the Ghost!...
...!
Regular "de-fragging" the HDD to clean up the system doesn't seem to make much difference.
It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, its always at the most inopportune times, (Multiplayer Sessions!)....

Multitasking: Brushing the teeth, making a cup of Coffee, and Shaving at the same time.

Fozzer,
Maybe you have run out of room for the swap file on the HD and when long flying sessions...... the graphics load runs out of places to swap out the files?

Got online tonight for a couple of hours. Did a circuit at KBOS to test out my flying a bit and then did an IFR hop from RJAA (Narita) to RJBB (Kansai) in Japan as JAL 651.
First time I have flown in about 3-4 MONTHS! Really needed the checklist to start up the simpit
. Amazing how much you forget in that short timeframe.
However, I managed to do two visual approach landings without killing anyone.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep up regular flying now for a while.
best,
...................john
There were about 4-5 others flying around the SimV world too when I was on.
