Cool idea. Can we just add to the story in this thread, or would it be better elsewhere?
EDIT: Might as well start adding on here:
A little girl sitting in a rocking chair, staring at the runway from her bedroom window. It is a cold and long winter, and she close her eyes, dreaming......
about escaping from the confines of this earth, and soaring effortlessly into the heavens, if only for a day. A light snow silently falls outside her window, being enveloped in shades of white, blues, and blacks of the surrounding terrain, interrupted only by the sharp lights of the runway ahead of her. A beacon flashes through the snowy mist as the young dreamer's thoughts wander through a fantasy world of her creation. The pure silence of the environment is only occasionally broken by the sudden roar of engines overhead as craft of all shapes and sizes descend through the night and rattle her windows.
The snowfall begins to subside, and the full moon begins to cautiously shine through the silver overcast, illuminating the snow that has now thoroughly covered almost every element of the outside environment. The young dreamer, comforted by the beauty that is presented before her, slips into her own world for the night in anticipation of the excitement that will occur the next morning.

Stray beams of light pierce through the ghostly surroundings, but it is sufficient enough. White, everywhere. The young dreamer, Holly, rises quickly and suddenly. Her bedroom surroundings are glowing with the intensity of a thousand lights, being impeded only minimally by the thin blinds strung across her window. A thin silver sky hovers above her window. The sun at this time is still intense enough to efficiently break through this virtual barrier though, and the landscape looks beautifully desolate thanks to the previous evening's storm.
Holly bounces through the hallway in anticipation of her adventure: a small airplane ride to a village across the lake.
Allowing herself to act like a kid is rare for her. Normally, a six year old child like her would be busily playing with anything and everything around her and enjoying the simple life. Not Holly. Her parents, Edgar and Susan, were killed three years ago in a freak accident while leaving the funeral of their second son.
(SimV edit commentary: Can't get much darker than that can it?
)
During the years following the incident, she was raised by her other brother Peter, who at this time is now 21. As a testament to the success and drive of his parents, Peter received his pilot's license shortly after the death of Edgar and Susan. Today, Peter and Holly would be taking the rare opportunity to treat themselves to a nice day out by renting a plane at the local airfield for the trip.
(SimV commentary: Hopefully others will chime in here, otherwise I'll continue tomorrow.)

As the excitement builds up, Holly's mind wanders even further. To her immaginary friend Amy. Amy is also a six year old girl, but completely the oposite of Holly. The traumatic event caused her a mental illness, that can only be cured if she herself is willing to let go of the past.

Main Characters (so far):
Holly
Holly's deranged/dark imaginary friend: Amy
Holly's nurturing brother: Peter
Side Characters (so far):
Dead parents (for backstory)
Plot:
So far, Holly spent the night at her house watching the snowstorm and the nearby airport. Currently, they are preparing to take a small Cessna ride courtesy of Peter, but Holly's dark side (Amy) will be beginning to show.
Character physical appearances (I'll mention this in the actual text later unless someone else wants to add on.):
Holly- See picture in Jakes first post.
Amy(yeah imaginary friend, but representative of her nature completely in my mind and possibly Holly's if I have time to establish that. Also a good representation for live stage work. Good coincidence on the name too.) -
Peter- not sure yet.
I (
WE
if more people will contribute) need more time to develop the story. I have some partial ideas in mind, but I just need to write. I never make plans or drafts ahead of time. What I write is what I am thinking of at that instant. I just let it flow.
Come on people, help us add to this!
I also want some nice FS shots (nice edits might work well here) when I get to that point in the story.
JakesF14, this is such a cool idea, thanks for posting the thread!

Dawn is breaking as Peter and Holly takes off into the rising sun. As always, Amy and Holly argue who is sitting in co-pilots seat. Peter smiles as he think of what he planned for them. It will be a big day for Holly. today she will met Peter's girlfriend Nadia.
Nadia lives on a beautiful ranch, 150 nautical miles northeast from their hometown. wild horses running on the farm, with a river near to the house. Nadia's father Nathan, is a retired commercial pilot for Quantas.
Peter's thoughts got interrupted when he feels the stick moving under his hand. It is Holly "I want to fly the plane." Peter gave her the stick, let het get the feel of flying, while watching the twinkle in the little girl's eyes. "Look Holly, there is the runway, I need control again." While descending, and prepare for landing, he listens how Holly is giving Amy flying lessons. Mixed emotions filled him as he park and shut the engines down of the twin engine Beechcraft King Air, and out of the window he can see Nadia approach them on a black stallion.

"Good morning, Peter, oh and this must be Holly?" Nadia welcomes them. " Look how beautifull she is!". " But come, there is coffee waiting in the kitchen." Nadia says as she guide them to the Land Rover waiting at the airstrip. "Peter, you can drive while I lead the way on Stella." "Wait", Holly shouts." Wait for Amy!"."Come on Amy, get in! You don't want to stay here, do you?" she move over to make space for Amy. "What is this all about, and who is Amy?" Nadia ask. " Amy is Holly's friend" Peter replies, and start the Land Rover.
In the kitchen they found Nadia's father, looking worried. Nadia introduce them to Nathan. "Hello uncle Nathan, and this is Amy," Holly introduces. "Holly, will you please go fetch my sunglasses in the Land Rover?" Peter ask to get Holly away from them. As soon as she is out, he explained to them about Amy, and that since the accident of their parents Amy is around. they sit in silence for while until Holly rerurns.
"You look worried, dad? what is the matter?" Nadia breakes the silence. Nathan stand up, and put on his jacket. Winter here in Colorado can get pretty cold. "Graham, the neighbour just called. Says he found one of the stallions dead in the northen mountains". Nathan shook his head."the stallion was shot." Peter, Nadia and Holly stare at Nathan, too shocked to say something. It is Peter who first break the silence." Who would kill a stallion, uncle Nathan?". Nathan shook his head: "Yeah, who would?"......

"Graham's still out there assessing the situation." Nathan said,
"Holly, the fun flight is going to have to wait. Graham says there's a small strip a couple miles away from their location and I think it would be a good idea if we flew up there to see if he needs anything. Just leave the King Air here, we have enough room in the more rugged Seneca for this flight. With our destination and the weather the way it is, I don't want something that expensive hauling us around up there. I want to be airborne in an hour. Don't let the situation bother you too much, we'll be back down here having a great time after a few hours. Graham has his Baron up there right now too, so maybe you guys can get a ride in that later."
An hour later, the gang piles into the old twin and begin to head out.
"Hopefully the heaters will kick on in a second." Nathan said.
"Amy, just stay still, this plane is perfectly safe!" comes the voice of Holly.
As the family buckles up, the engines buzz to life as a light snowfall starts up again. They lift off uneventfully and head toward the mountains.

The Piper Seneca near the mountains. Turbulence, unexpected clouds and cold weather makes it difficult to fly, but years experience in Quantas and ex military pilot make Nathan an excellent pilot. Every decision, input is secure and accurate.
A cracked voice over the radio is barely heard over the windy noise. “ Piper –this is Baron GOLF-ECCO-DELTA-ALPHA – do you read me!” “what is with Graham today, we normaly are the only ones flying in this area” Nathan respond. “ we can hear you, GOLF-ECCO-DELTA-ALPHA, over”
“Piper it seems that we have engine trouble. Heading home. Current location five miles south of Crocodile peak, over”
“five miles south of Crocodile peak, confirmed, we change course. Heading towards you. over”
“You see, that is what you get for flying” Amy’s voice fill Holly’s mind. “ this plane is also going to fall!” “do you have a parachute?” “what is the sound when a plane crash?” “what will be your last words?” “don’t scream, it won’t help” Amy’s words fill Holly’s head. Nadia, sitting next to Holly, suddenly noticed that Holly silently started to cry. “Holly, what is the matter? Why are you crying?” Nadia is concerned. One look at Holly’s face and she can see that Holly is scared.
“ Piper –this is Baron GOLF-ECCO-DELTA-ALPHA –we lost the starboard engine. We have headwind and is losing altitude. over”
“we read you, what is your position? Over”
“Current position 5 miles .......” the weather does not play along very well with the radio.
“Baron can you repeat your position? Repeat your position!!”
Four pairs of eyes are staring at the radio that holds unspoken secrets...
(ps: if someone can help with the radio communications? I am not familiar with all of it
)

Looks great so far. I'll try to add on in a few days.
EDIT: ok, a small amount:
"These foolish people, why did they think that this was a good idea!?" Amy's voice continues to flow through Holly's head.
"These people have never been scared for their lives. It will change now! Holly, I know I've never done this before, but I need to use you, you'll be fine."
Holly is suddenly overcome with a debilitating amount of fear and sadness, then....she begins to black out.
As she goes into her mind's darkness, she hears what sounds like distant screams and crying. The crying and screams fade in and out in intensity, and right before she goes out completely, she hears two sharp "bangs" coming from her surroundings.

Note: Had some other text here for the past few days (since the 14th I think), but scrapped it for storyline continuity reasons because I wasn't paying attention. My completely new addition below was created on Sept 19th around 10:30pm. I look forward to anyone's participation.
On a side note, I just write this as it comes to me with no planning, which means if you see obvious mistakes or just ways to make a sentence better, please tell me.
Holly wakes. Her face is bitten with coldness, and her vision blurs as she tries to make sense of her surroundings. She feels like she's flying through the clouds, uninhibited by mechanical wings, but her dreams quickly cease as she realizes the severity of the situation. She's upside down in her seat belt, five feet above the ground. Icy water flows over her from somewhere above, and as she tilts her head upwards, she sees pools of crimson stain the fresh snow toward what was once the front of the plane.
A disembodied voice faintly whispers in her mind: "You'll be alright, you won't join me."
"Peter....Peter where are you?" Holly is overcome with terror and begins shaking.
"Holly...just don't move...I'll be ok.....just stay there for a minute." Peter yells out.
"Peter's a good boy, I made sure that he would be ok here." Amy's comments flood Holly's mind.
"A slap on the wrist for that other dirty girl, she was hesitant to stick her nose in this business anyway. The older man went too far." Amy's thoughts echo clearly.
"Holly, I'm here for you, and you don't know what I can do. I want to protect you, and sometimes that means avoiding certain types of people." Amy's voice begins taking on a surreal quality in Holly's mind. Angelic, yet tinged with sadness.
Peter climbs down to the ground. A small cut on his arm and a bump on the head is all he has to show for what looks like a devastating accident.
Peter ducks over to Holly, with Nadia hanging right next to her. A stream of blood slowly runs up Nadia's leg and starts dripping on her face, jolting her into consciousness. Being upside down, she is just as disoriented as Holly is for a minute, but regains her senses quick enough to attend to her leg before climbing down.
"Nathan!", Nadia screams.
No response.
Nathan's seat is now fully occupied by a tree and branches and as Nadia and Peter look closer, they realize that this is all that remains.
(SimV note: edited out my intended goriness here due to creeping myself out at this point and for the forum's sake, but trust me, I'm having a lot of fun with this.
)
"Holly, let's get you down from there. Are you ok?" Peter asks.
"Flying's a dangerous game, Holly. Not everyone is ready to play chicken with the Reaper." Amy's voice fades in and out of Holly's mind once more, providing more of a narrative to her than ever before.
Post-addition note: Yeah, I kind of limited the storyline direction temporarily at this point, but I hope that this method still leaves a lot of creative writing opportunities available to contributors. (If we ever get more.)
An inventive imagination can still take this story in many different ways though, and even quickly remove them from this situation if you so choose. I'll try to take the story airborne again which should hopefully inspire more screenshots and writing contributions from others, but I would prefer that someone else takes the writing reigns for a little while.
Right now we could use some nice screenshots of the Baron flying through a snowstorm (for Jake's most recent contribution), and maybe a nice snowy forest from any sim or game (for the contribution in this post).
I've focused a lot purely on narration at this point due to my lack of FS access, so I or someone else will hopefully try to steer this thing around for more FS shot opportunities after a little while.

Graham, the neighbour's Baron in the snowstorm

.
Three pairs of footprints draw a single line along the now snow covered mountain. “Where are we?” the shock of the accident and the continuous snowfall send shivers through Nadia’s body. Tears fill her eyes once again. Over and over she hears her Fathers voice in her head. The voices change into screams. Peter lead the trio, followed by Holly and then Nadia. They are moving slowly. Peter did the best he can with Nadia’s injured leg. He managed to stop the bleeding, but she needs help FAST! Nadia knows the mountain the best of them all, but she just can’t clear her mind.
Graham is worried as he near the airfield. Nathan didn’t contact him on the radio since. He tried to contact Nathan on the radio for a while now, but with no success. And that worries him. And that is also why he calls for a search and rescue helicopter, which is already at the airfield, waiting for him. Graham did the worst landing in his life, but with one engine down, any landing is a good landing. The weather at the airfield is almost clear, but far back the mountain is covered with snow and mist.
Graham quickly shuts down, and hop into the helicopter, they lift off, and the pilot turn the nose and point it to the mountain. This is going to be a bumpy ride. A long one!
The search and rescue heli awaits Graham to lead them in the search and rescue of the missing Piper Seneca
