Hi Guys,
I have ran a search in this section of the forums for a tutorial for this version but to no avail.
So I'd just like to ask if anyone knows or has a tutorial on repainting aircraft with Photoshop CS4?
Cheers,&&&&Carl

With all due respect, I Googled -
"Photoshop CS4" tutorial
and got 1.23 million returns, surely one or two of them will help you learn the ins and outs of the program.
My suggestion would be to check out some of those as learning how to use the program correctly will make repainting planes tons easier.
I would recommend starting with learning how to use layers and paths first. When I figured those out life became dramatically easier.
Hope this helps,
Joe
Don't argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

what he said, the best advice anyone can give..if you're not really familiar with the program start at the basic tutorials and work your way through them until you get to the advanced stuff..it may take you months before you are ready to tackle an aircraft paint but the better you know your paint program and how to use it the better you'll be able to repaint an aircraft..the templates alone are difficult enough to deal with so be prepared.

It doesn't matter what version of Photoshop you have, repainting for FS-X involves knowing the texture format used, having a converter (*although with the proper plugin in, Photoshop can open the dds and formatted bitmaps directly).
THe important thing is learning your particular paint program (or version of Photoshop).

Not really.... if you have the nVidia plugin in the Photoshop (or Paint Shop Pro) plugin menu, you can then use that plugin in creating the bump maps, and the dds texture format.....
