I installed the BVRTL107 helicopter from here & it doesn't show.   I've just spotted this is all there is at the beginning of the Aircraft file:
[fltsim.0]
title=Vertol 107
sim=Vertol 107
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
checklists=
description=The Boeing-Vertol 107 is a variant of the CH-46, with modifications to the main gear pods and an added emergency floater/support in the rear.

The usual atc/ui entries are missing.  Would this be the non-show reason?

Yep -

You seem to missing

ui_manufacturer=
ui_type=
and
ui_variation=

The entries (filled in of course) are what determines how it is displayed on your "select aircraft" dialogue - assuming it is a "flyable" aircraft and not designed for AI use only.

What is the exact filename (a link to it) so one of us can look for ouselves?

Hi there.
It's at the bottom of P6 2002 Helicopters.  I wanted it as it has Swedish markings to fly from Bergen.......I just unzipped it & popped it inmy aircraft folder....
I have other AI choopers that fly alright & was surprised this one didn't.

Look under Unspecified on the FS9 Aircraft selection menu. It should be listed but the rotors don't display for me.

My god it's horrible but the delete button worked!!
The rotors didn't work for me either.  Looking at where I got it from I realise it's a 2002 job & I didn't twig that when I d/l'd it.
Thanks for you help.

Terry.
