Dear fellow flightsimmers,
    I, the head of the 437th Virtual Airlift Command, have RE-OPENED the VA.  We had a huge following about two years ago, and due to an unfortunate hackjob that someone wanted to pull, we have finally got the halls painted and pictures hung back in the meeting rooms. 

   The 437th VAC is a dedicated group of individuals who gather to form one of the fastest growing groups of virtual pilots on the net today.  The 437th utilizes the program "TeamSpeak 2 Client" at address:  437th.hopto.org:8767  for all flights, ATC sessions, meetings, missions, and general chat in Flight Simulator 2002, Flight Sim 2004, and Flight Simulator X.
 
   The 437th prides itself in being one of TeamSpeak's more friendly, and easiest groups to join.  We fly all type of aircrafts on multiple missions, free flight, or ATC Controlled sessions, so fly pretty much whatever you want, when you want, unless you want to participate in a group Military Mission.

   Some of what the 437th is all about:  We are just a group of individuals looking to share in the joys of Flight Simulator, and help others in their quest to become better virtual pilots, as well as learn from others, and most of all... to make friends!

    The 437th VAC is modeled after the Original and Real 437th Airlift Wing, Air Mobility Command stationed at KCHS, Charleston AFB, Charleston, South Carolina.  The mission of the 437th VAC is based on the same mission of the 437th AMC:

          437th AW AMC Mission: The mission of the 437th Airlift Wing is to command assigned airlift and supporting units; provide for the airlift of troops and military passengers, military equipment, mail and aeromedical airlift and to participate in operations involving the airland or airdrop of troops, equipment and supplies when required. The 437th also is the only strategic wing in the Air Mobility Command with special operations missions. AMC special operations training prepares select crews to avoid detection using low-level flight techniques. The 437th AW is the only strategic wing in the Air Force to fly this mission.
