We have been experiencing access and download speed problems for the past week or so.

Last week I contracted a server support guy to look into this. It was not an obvious issue and took some investigating. It was found that by restarting our web server software the issue was resolved so we updated that and all seemed well (Saturday/Sunday/Monday)

Then yesterday things creeped down again. This was particularly noticeable in the member download area where speeds were unacceptably slow. Naturally we think it must be a related server software issue. But this time there were definite pointers outside our server.

By co-incidence it was found that a switch into our main server was faulty and has now been replaced. (proving co-incidences do happen ..)

As always we are now monitoring things

Apologies for any irritations (I can guarantee you that your anxt was nothing on mine!  Cool )
