Hi,

I want to convert an F-16 pack designed for FS9 to FSX.
Basicly, I tried to just install everything in the correct folders but only the AFCAD worked..
No planes to be seen and therefore I don't know if the flightplans are working.
Anyone know how I can make it work ?
You can find the file at Avsim, search for : Belgium F-16 package.

Where did you install the aircraft? FSX does not recognize the FS2004\Aircraft\... folder.

I've placed them into the sim objects/airplanes folder..
I could try to make a subfolder for AI aircraft as you said in the thread you posted ?

Thanks

SimObjects\Airplanes\ is fine. I created the alternate folder for organization purposes only.

I've downloaded the package will check it out.

Installed the aircraft, the Afcads, and flightplans and things appear to be working.

Time: Sunday, 11:50GMT, there were F-16s parked at EEBL and EBFS. Haven't seen any flying yet, will have to check the schedules in the flightplans.

Did yoou install the flightplans, Traffic_BAF_F16.bgl, to the \scenery\ subfolder of an active scenery area folder? example..\Scenery\World\scenery\ which is the usual location for Traffic*.bgl files.

I did everything teh same as you except one thing : I didn't use the traffic file but I uses TTools and the three text files. Maybe that's the solution. I'll try it tommorow, now gonna get some sleep.

Thanks a lot,

Glad to hear you got it working.  Smiley

I verified departures were working. At EVGA, Tues 08:05GMT. 3 departed.

You may find some oddities as many of the destination airports do not have parking. Aircraft may arrive and then disappear after landing. Those that are TNG should be fine. Any that are on scheduled layover at airports without parking will not be there. However, after their scheduled departure you may find them enroute, and they will arrive at the next airport on schedule.

From FS9, I know that they go to the UK a lot and I once followed an Falcon all the way to Denmark, and I though gee what a long flight now it's finally time to land and the moment it touched down, it dissapeared  Angry
But it was fun flying in formation all the time Grin
With that pack I learned to fly in formation !
