Which of these two would YOU buy and why?

-Alpha Sim: Hawker Hunter
-Lotus Simulations: Aero L 39 Albatros

Thanks.

Lotus L-39.

Why?

The Alphasim model is surely outdated by now, and it doesn't come anywhere NEAR the depth of the L-39.

The L-39 is by far the best airplane I've ever purchased. She's very easy to fly, yet very capable. No doubt, that after being developed by a person who has actually flown the L-39, she would definitely have the more realistic flight model.

I don't have the Hunter, but I do have a fair amount of Alphasim products, and enjoy them. However, the Lotus L-39 blows them all out of the water. It LOOKS even better than any Alphasim airplane. It has more DEPTH and AUTHENTICITY than any Alphasim airplane, and once you are comfortable with it, flight can be very fun.

Hands down, the L-39 (visit Sim Outhouse to see some of the comments regarding it - I do believe she is more critically acclaimed than the Hunter ever was).

L-39: Looks great for screenshots, very realistic, very indepth

Hawker Hunter: Looks great for screenshots, easy to fly, very basic, not made in FSX SDK so bigger hit on FPS

I would go for the L-39 Cheesy

Err...no, it is made in the FSX SDK. It has self shadowing and bump mapping.

I have the Hunter. It's fun to fly, handling is great...but I'm itching to get the L-39. From the look of various screenshots, it definitely surpasses the quality of the Hunter.

So you're making the right decision  Cool

No doubt the Hunter looks good, but the L-39 looks that little bit better.
