I have been utilizing the downloads section at Simviation for years but have never visited the forums. I have a few quick questions:
How long until our probation is up?
Are we allowed to act like ourselves here? I mean, its hard to tell if I am an idiot or an intellect most of the time.
Since you allow Dirtman and Tango Romeo here the place must not have too high a standard. Is it alright if I revisit once in a while? Don't feel you have to say yes. I have been kicked out of a lot of nice joints.
Do our avatars have to have a url? Can't we just upload one? If so how?
Thanks in advance for your replies. And remember, its not nice to kick old dogs to the side of the road.
New here, old everywhere else.

I been here since CFS and don't remember.
Are we allowed to act like ourselves here? I mean, its hard to tell if I am an idiot or an intellect most of the time.
Normally, yes, but in your case, you need to hold it down...someone might take you seriously.
Since you allow Dirtman and Tango Romeo
I resemble that.

Use the Upload Images link at the top of the page. The resulting link you get can be pasted into the avatar blank in your profile.
Thanks in advance for your replies. And remember, its not nice to kick old dogs to the side of the road.
However it is acceptable when old school teacherss are involved.

Yes by all means be yourself, just play nice, and no religion, politics, porn, or extreme blood & guts. Everything else is fair game for discussion.

We do require that all images be uploaded here:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbupload.html
Avatar limit of 100 pixels wide and 10Kb in size
Signature pic limit of 30kb
and all other posted images 1024x768 150kb size limit.
and please no linking of images.
Aside from that, we're all a looney bunch here, and are very comfortable with it.
Look forward to seeing you around more.

The first thing I noticed was his location. Aside from passing through or doing an install in Kansas City (we avoided Kansas when we could since they charged our delivery trucks extra to cross their border), I only sent letters to a foster mom who had a televised bible show in Salina. There seems nothing spectacular there, everything is mostly
plain
. Of course, I can't say to much better about my own situation at the time, based just north of the Kansas border in Nebraska.

Are you guys serial? Look I'm not one to defend the state of a
Cans ass
(sorry typo) but I drove from East Lansing Michigan to Chicago to St. Louis to
Cans ass
(opps again) City to Wichita and everything looked the same the whole freakin 1100 miles. About the trucking charges - yea we got great roads, thanks. One thing I can guarantee, as you through Kansas, as quick as you can, the road are good enough to make you want to do 100-miles-per-hour. Again, we find this little fact helps to support our highway system. A big thank you to our local
armed forces
I mean highway patrolmen.

Good things about Wichita:
1. The mountains of Colorado are 10 hours away.
2. The Texas coastline is 10 hours away
3. The Ozarks of Mossouri (how do spell it?) and Arkansas are 6 hours away.
4. Its not in Nebraska, Oklahoma, or Kanada
5. Dirtman is 16 hours away. No I haven't driven it but I fly my P51 over his virtual domicile everyday and bomb it with canisters filled with fresh horse manure.
6. Finally, I just bought a big brand new home for $205,000 that would have cost me $500,000 in Michigan, probably a million in New York or California. Not only is my standard of living extremely high, even though I am a lowly teacher, but I can afford to vacation in all of the above mentioned places several time per year.
I just wanted you to know all of this because I have lived elsewhere. My two years in East Lansing proved to me there really is no place like home.
Oh yea, missed one:
7. Its so hot here in the summer time the girls run around with little on and they all gets so tanned . . . oh yea!

Ed, don't forget that the pheasant hunting in Centralia, KS is magnificent, as are the 300 folks who live there....even though they rode you out of town on a rail.
And the warden at Leavenworth said he didn't want to see you within 100 miles of his facility ever again.

Not surprising, being south of Nebraska... where I once put a carton of milk on the counter after finding the power had been off all night, making it warmer in the refrigerator than outside. Within 1˝ hours, however, the temperature had risen to 114 degrees in the shade -- and I had a carton of cottage cheese.
