ok, who reset the Forums and Simv.com (main site) back to the 26.6 kbps Modem????? both are running so slow that in the time from when i opened IE8 (i have the forums saved on a tab).... i went to the kitchen, made a PB&J sandwhich (peanut butter and jelly for those that dont know what it is) and came back and STILL only had 3 little green bars at the bottom of the screen.

no other website is acting up, just here.  did we all of a sudden get MEGA-SUPER Popular, or is the DNS having problems?

It sometimes seems as though when you attempt to open Pages, or upload a post, etc, that someone else is doing exactly the same thing, at the same time, and one of us gets "Timed Out" in an attempt to "Connect"?

It often happens if I try to beat someone with a reply to a Post!...(the Forum is busy?).

Paul....It certainly is slow today, with lots of Time Outs... Cry...!

This morning I couldn't even open the main page, let alone the forums. This afternoon it was a bit better, got even better around the time I posted my screenshots in payware, but now it seems to slow down again.  Maybe it'll be better tomorrow.

Crash Wink

Paul, just in case, I'll leave the door to my garden shed wide open. Maybe it'll help a bit....

better open the side window also, it might get stuck in the shed.  I already have the front and back doors to my house, as well as all of the windows open just in case the 'wireless' wants to provide me an EXCELLENT signal on my WIRED connection.

If we knew exactly what was causing the problem a fix would have been as easy as changing a wheel.  Smiley

That was the problem -- trying to find out the cause. A lot of programs and scripts work together.

Have found what fixes things but not why things went wrong in the 1st place .... Still working on it.  Cool
