This had to hurt. Shocked

http://www.nascar.com/video/busch/2009/08/07/nns.wat.high.prac.leffler.nascar/

This is the only video I can find of it.

Leffler got lucky in this one, being in the older style car for this kind of wreck.

That seems so much less hateful. Embarrassed Grin

I know NASCAR isn't wildly popular, but there are a few here that like it, so I post little tidbits every now & then.  Wink

Believe me, I know.... I live in the south. Its Nascar this, Nascar that. Nascar 24/7 on Speed. Back in the day, when Speed was Speedvision, they would actually show racing such as DTM, Rally, BTCC, as well as dirt bike racing, dirt track racing and so much more. Those days are gone in favor of showing a replay of a Nascar race from 1986. Nascar may not be so bad if we werent continually inundated with it. Know what I mean?

I'm really hoping he does good. I lost the Speed channel before his switch to Renault, and missed his last seasons, so it will be nice to see him in a ride again. Smiley

Erm.....What?

As for what happened to Lefler, ya' gotta respect the glen, its taken some lives in the past.  He probably got a bit too cozy and had a brain fart.

WOW!! I feel stupid. Embarrassed

For some reason, I was under the impression, that he left Ferrari for his last season, or had left Ferrari and then came back to another team for a Year and then retired.

But as I sit here staring at his career chart, I can see I am in serious error. Embarrassed

I will now go sit in the Auto sports dunce chair. Embarrassed

EDIT: What I was thinking of was: The year after I lost the Speed Channel, was the first year that MS or Ferrari did not win the Championship. That was when Renault/Alonso won.

My apologies to the F1 crowd, it has been a while.  Wink
