She's the fourth major evolution of the original Fox Four E model, and a team effort. Bob McGee and James Peach are contributing beautiful skins for the bird. She will continue to carry on the F4 tradition of detail and high FPS in one package. Wink

Most of the features unique to the H model are visible in this shot:

- horizontal stab with no dihedral
- raising canopy verses sliding
- 20mm armament verses .50cal

The fuselage was a little deeper for slightly larger intake, and the engine had about 150% the thrust of the E/F models. However, the aerodynamics of the airframe prevented a drastic increase in top speed.

The H last saw combat in the Pakistani/Indian conflict of 1970.

The H project was inspired by Bub, who has done some skins, updated the AIR file and gently bugged me for a year. Sopwith Chameleon has also done a beautiful skin.

This particular skin shows the aircraft being tested by Korean Ace McConnell when he was killed.

Bub and Sopwith finished the skins long ago, and I've been fiddling around with details since then. I figured that if I didn't post her now, it would never get done. Undecided

Familiar yes and aware it was based on Korea but that's about it. Thanks for the link.

Haven't flown a jet in CFS2 since I had that old Flight One Korean payware addon....remember that one? On a search found it buried in my external hard drive and no desire to dig it up.

Your F-86 is really sweet! Leaving Nadzab heading for the coast.

Yeah! There's nothing like the smell of a commie burning on a summer morn. Smiley

I'm trying to get to Korea Tongue

... but having some probs with the auto-install . Only the bases and one MIG showed up...I know I mixed up the install order of the last two files...4.zip and 4a.zip or something like that.
Anyway, I've been accused of being a notorious non-reader of read-me firsts.
I'll figure it out...if nothing else,,,will do a manual install in a virgin CFS2.
