when i start fs9 i get this message:

The weather themes could not be loaded. please check if this file exist and try again.

my weather themes don't show up in the menu, and i cant customize (crashes) , but when i check the fs9 folder, the weather themes are there in there folder, so is the weather.dll

is there something i am overlooking?

I rather suspect you may have (accidentally?) deleted something in your FS 2004 Folder?

Try a re-install?

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator... Cool...!

...or delete/rename your FS9.cfg notepad File, and let the Sim build another one on start-up?.....Wink...worth trying...!

thanks for your help, although i did not want resorting to reinstalling fs9

i gave this a try before i  would reinstall as a last try

i went through the cd's and found the weather folder on disc 2 and discovered i was missing wtb files, placing them solved my problem

Glad you got it fixed. There's usually always something one can do before the Option of Last Resort.
