I've just installed this aircraft from here:
FS2004 Boeing 737-200 Alaska. A repaint of Eric Cantu's Boeing 737-200, the textures are DX3 for better clarity and frame rates.Enjoy 2.19MB by Steven Nagley. 2.1MB

The panel is ailiased to the default 737. In main panel right & left window view I can see wings, which I don't want. If I press W & look left & right the wings have gone.......how do I get rid of these wings in panel view?   I've since aliased the panel to a nice FFX737 panel but the wings remain Undecided.

This aircraft features cabin wing views. You need to move the viewpoint back to the cockpit.

Find this entry in Aircraft.cfg.

[Views]
eyepoint=-6.1286, -1.85, 5.00

Change it to this.

[Views]
eyepoint=30, -1.85, 5.00

This will put the viewpoint 30 feet ahead of the CoG instead of 6.1286 feet behind it.

I forgot to ask you, Hagar, how did you know wing views were included?  I don't remember them being mentioned when I looked at it before installing it.

Purely from experience. I checked the eyepoint in Aircraft.cfg & it was in the wrong location for the cockpit.

To elaborate; The viewpoint was the first thing I thought of when I saw your question. I found the 737-200 Alaska repaint, downloaded it & checked the entry in Aircraft.cfg. The viewpoint coordinates put the view in the passenger cabin level with the wings. In other words, wing view.

My suggestion of moving it to 30 feet forward of the CoG is a guesstimate & you can tweak it as you wish.
