I want to save a B737-200 in Alaska Airlines livery parked in the Alaska Airlines hangar at Fly Tampa's SeaTac as my default flight.  When I start FS9 I'm told the aircraft cannot be found & the default Cessna appears.  The 737 is listed, I can see, & fly it.   Is the problem being inside the hangar?
Cheers. Huh

i would first get AFCAD 2.2.1 to see if there is a starting point that is inside the hangar of your choice.  Also check to see if the starting point (if there is one) has the correct parking codes for your airline of choice.

if there is no Starting point, put one there.... add the parking codes, and you will be set for YOUR starting point to where you can save your flight and start there.

CAUTION:: by changing the original AFCAD for an airport, you MAY loose AI craft at that airport if you do not Modify the Starting Points/Parking codes for all of the other airlines as well.

If you want, I could take a look at SEATAC for you in AFCAD and send you an updated AFCAD / PARKING file for your craft as well as all other AI craft for that airport. just let me know.

If your default flight starts in the hangar the problem would appear to be with the aircraft, not the scenery. Have you tried saving the flight with a different aircraft in the same location? That would at least narrow the problem down.

Thanks both.  I started FS9 just now & tried again & there was my Alaska 737 in the hangar....yet it wouldn't do it yesterday.  Odd.

Thanks Propwash for your offer by the way.
I did try another aircraft yesterday, Hagar but it wouldn't work.  It does this morning as I've said.

I do have a problem with this 737's panel view but I'll post another topic for it.
