Hi, i've only ever bought 2 payware aircraft for FSX.
-Douglas Skyray by AlphaSim
-Dassault Mirage III/V by Skysim
I'm pretty satisfied with the quality of the Dassault, but thought the Skyray was a little basic, especially considering it cost me £17.50, but neither were as high a quality as the default aircraft in FSX (although the Mirage was very close to it).
I was wondering if there are any Military Payware aircraft out there finished to as high a quality as the FSX defaults?
Thanks for your time!

Well....
...in 10+ years of daily "Microsoft" Flight simming. I have never had the overwhelming urge to spend loads of money on Payware Aircraft.
In practice, all the Default, and zillions of excellent Freeware Aircraft from various sources have always satisfied all my requirements and needs...
The only things I occasionally purchase (rarely) are various Utilities, etc, which are only available as Payware.

I see what you're saying Fozzer.
I’m usually more interested in finding freeware liveries for the existing default aircraft (mainly the F/A-18, P-51D and the DC-3), and aircraft, but sometimes I want to purchase an add on that I expect to be high-quality and hope that it will keep me occupied for a good while.
After a little research A2A simulations looks very good, especially the B377.
Thanks for your time.

The Aerosoft F-16 is a great payware military jet. If you like the Acceleration F/A-18 then you will like this one, probably like it more.

Thanks! I've been looking at the F-16 lately and i'm very impressed with what I have seen, and it is without a doubt well priced, but it is a maaaasive file. Not sure if i'd be able to fit much more on my comp after that!

Maybe you could look into an external hard drive?

If it doesn't have to be a jet, get the AEROSOFT CATALINA!
I just can't convey how detailed, realistic, and just generally nice it is!

I have been fairly impressed with both the Carenado and Eaglesoft brands. I would rate them as good or better than the default.
