As hard as I try I can barely get the default J3 to achieve an altitude of 2,800 ft. I've got a default load, and even when I empty it by putting 0% fuel it still only goes upto 4,000 ft.

Once you approach 5,000 feet ASL, you have to gradually weaken the Mixture to gain more power in a normally aspirated (carburettor) engine.....

Slowly weaken the Mix, and listen to the engine; when it starts to falter, slightly richen the Mix again until the engine runs smoothly.

You now have Maximum Power.

I saw more camels in Kuwait than in Iraq. Almost hit a couple camels with a humvee... Grin

We were more worried about the human waste, as some villages have open sewage 'systems' alongside the roads. The smell was just horrible. Its worst than the worse smell you could possibly imagine.... Roll Eyes

The worst smell to me was the latrine burn cans.
