Does anyone know if there is a good L-39 available somewhere for FSX? I work on them for a living and would love to have an L-39 in my hangar and we also have a number of customers that would be interested in an L-39 simulator. I already have Combat Jet Trainer for CFS2 but I would like something a little more modern and with a more accurate flight model.

There is a payware one being developed for FSX, it's in the final beta stages I believe.

SeanTK sent me a link to a thread at SOH about it, I'll see if I can find it. Wink

EDIT: SOH is down for the moment, but be assured, it's coming, and the shots of it were every bit as nice as Dino's new F-14D

There is a payware version being developed by the creator of some of the most viewed FSX youtube-movies there is (Like vectors)

However, a freeware version is being developed as well, although it might be on hold for a little while:

That payware Albatross is looking really good. We just got one of these down at the local airfield, quite a smart looking jet. Smiley

Yeah right after I posted this I found the one over at SOH. It's buy a guy from Vancouver BC called Lotus. Pretty nice looking plane. I IM'd him a number of times. He is a stickler for realism and pretty much all of the quirky little idiosyncrisies that an L-39 has are modeled. It will be payware and probably be out in a couple weeks. What I saw was very impressive and he says there is even more that will be revealed when it is released. Here is a link for a short video if ya'll haven't seen it yet:
