Well, I checked my side of the internerd and everything seems fine. Ports are set on the router, firewall is set up right. FS9 re-installed but still no real world weather. For now I'll fly user defined, maybe it'll come back one day...

I remember I did a search for it...

It came up...I downloaded "Weather Maker Pro 4.9", (old version from somewhere), and installed it, and I use it daily....for free...which is nice....

The only one I had to purchase recently was "Ground Environment Pro"...£35!... Shocked

I did have the REALLY OLD, simple version of "Weather Maker" at one time, when it was free, a long time ago...but it was then discontinued and I lost it!

Hmm. Just looked at the payware version on simMarket (only 9 euros!) and it does indeed look good, so I might give it a go, to sit alongside the fab ISG1 FMC etc. that I got from there a couple of months ago.

Any downsides? I hear you have to have 'render to texture' turned off.

Can someone provide me with a downloadlink to Real Environment? Tried to google it but only get forumthreads or screenshots of it. There seems to be a download available from Avsim but that doesn't work yet. Many thanks in advance.

I HATE roundabout intersections. Most people don't seem to have a clue what do in and around them. I think I've had more close calls at those stupid things than normal intersections...! Roll Eyes

Roundabouts are funny. Especially when you go from mainland Europe to the U.K. and you encounter you're first roundabout. They drive on the wrong side of the road

so for the first time you go the right (legally Wink

) instead of to the left. Scary shit at first.
