This one's for FS9.  Downloaded a 1940 version of RAF Hawkinge, complied with the 'readme' and all's well except the AI fighters are missing.  The 'readme' said to place the .bgl file, in the Scenery/World/Scenery folder, place the AI aircraft in the Aircraft folder and the RAF Hawkinge folder in Addon Scenery.  Did something wrong  Undecided?

I remember checking this out a while ago. If I recall correctly it was originally included with a Hurricane package by Aeroplane Heaven. It's now posted separately HERE

It appears to work OK for me.

As a matter of interest I took my gliding courses at RAF Hawkinge. Unfortunately the airfield no longer exists.

PS. I might have added a Sound folder to both AI aircraft to get it working. Copy one from the default pa28_180.

Like most of those old RAF aerodromes, it looks like an overgrown rugger pitch with a perimeter taxiway.  As a boy, I'd ride over to RAF Turnhouse and watch them doing their thing.  As for my download, other than no AI birds it looks fine.  Guess I'll try it again with a different facial expression.

Did you see my PS? Try adding a sound folder to both AI aircraft.

I just reinstalled ithe Hawkinge scenery to check it out. If you're sure you installed it correctly try changing the time. I took this at 0950 local time.

You may need to turn the "Air Traffic Desity" up. Mine is set at 100% and all the AI traffic shows fine.

Go to, Settings, Traffic and set the slider to 100% and see if that helps.

Zaphod.

Just tried it at 0825 am (1625 your time) with the AI at 100 - nothing.  For verification - download comprised of three folders and a readme.  first folder - RAF Hawkinge to AddonScenery.  Second folder - AI aircraft 4Hurr/4Spit to Aircraft folder.  Third folder - Scenery (.bgl file) to Scenery/World/Scenery.  Plus added Sound from default PA28 to each AI entry.

In the file I downloaded the AI aircraft folders are named AI_HurricaneMK1 & AI_SpitfireMKI. Not sure if the folder names are important for AI aircraft in FS9. They work fine straight out of the box. The sound folder was a red herring.

Roger on the red herring  Smiley.  The only thing that gives me a moment of pause is the word 'copy', in the readme, when referring to the .bgl file for Scenery/World/scenery.  'Copy' infers dual placement or am I reading too much into it?

What that means is Copy & Paste. The usual method for manual installation of addons although I prefer Cut & Paste.

My concern was the use of 'copy'.  Thought maybe the .bgl file needed to be in more than the one place.

No. That is not necessary.
