I would recommend a 300gb Vraptor... Those addons build up over time, believe me Wink

Interesting, I am also busy with a new setup but have it just the other way around, V-Raptor for FSX and 7200rpm drive for everything else.

Since FSX is the most demanding application, it seems logical to put it on the fastest disk. Alternatively: OS on small SDD drive, FSX on V-raptor and the rest on standard HDD. Off course in a few years SDD might be best for everything but isn't affordable right now (at least for me)

A few things are not right in this config... soundcard doesnt go on the motherboard (as theres no PCI slot on that one).

Question is:
Should i get a new soundcard (pci-express) or choose a different board (with pci slot)

That board comes with great sound on-board... No need for a soundcard.  Wink
