Is there a set-up guide for FS9 like Nick has for FSX? Do we need one?

I'm putting a fresh install of XP64 and FS9 on a new drive. I'm going to give it a go for a change....

I'm thinking it will run well on the i7 940 at 4.0ghz.

i7 940 at 4.0ghz • Asus P6T Deluxe • 6gb OCZ Gold 1600 • BFG 285 Superclocked • Velociraptor 300gb HD • LG BlueRay Burner • Thermalright 120 cooler • PC Power 750W PS • Antec 1200 • Windows XP 64

Remember that fs9 is a singlecore app... and highly dependant on disk io.

There's a nhancer tweak guide on here somewhere.
You can tweak the sound cfg section to get the rest of your speakers alive

Steve,

I have FS9 (and FSX) running perfectly on my i7 system. There are only a couple of changes you need to make to the .cfg after everything is set up. If you need help setting up the sim to look its best, PM me and we'll get started. Our own Harold has helped me so much and every time I reinstall I follow his lists and procedures for my FS9 install... I'm NEVER disappointed. Wink
