This piece of hardware looks good, but at least one reviewer found it impossible to set up and gave it away. Meanwhile the Flightsim.com reviewer wrote about in glowing terms, while someone else pointed out that a .dll has to be copied for each aircraft into a place unspecified in the manual.

Has anyone got this piece of hardware and what has your experience been with it in setting it up, and in flight.

I would be grateful for your comments before I put out some of my diminishing pension.

The only help I can give is with the M Panel which is the small brother. I did a review of it here and could not be happier. I think it uses the same software and I have not had any of the problems that you listed.

Thanks for the review.  The same accusation was levelled at the MCP - a great piece of hardware, but a near useless manual.

If any of the VRInsight people read these forums, I suggest you get someone to right a decent manual - not longer, just correct.  And never assume that the average simmer is a computer expert.  Give EVERY step in the setup process.

Until then I suspect I shall control my wish to have a panel unless someone can do a Matt and teach us how to get it running.
