Nice explosion effects but try adding a bit of red to the explosion and some black smoke as it looks fake than the rest of the picture does

I thought all explosions were man made.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I am surprised that is your first! You seem to be really skilled and have caught onto photoshop really well! I can see you becoming a new veteran editor at SimV!!

well, im not too unfamiliar with photoshop. i rendered this in AutoCAD and compile the rest in photoshop - a new building i did for a developer

as for the explosion... that is just the first seconds durring the blast, BEFORE the red part of the flame starts to show, and the black smoke shows up. looks pretty good.

When bombs are dropped you rarely see a big orange explosion or even red explosion because dirt, grass etc.. is picked up from the bombs force almost instantly, that is why it looked wierd.

thanks for the comments! see my screenshot of the IMPALA MK II firing on a tank. I did that explosion from aphoto of an explosion - not copied into the shot, but creating it myself, only using the picture as reference
