I have to admit I only knew him from his portrayal of Gen Omar Bradley in the film "Patton". 97's not a bad innings.

My local news program said he was not only a good actor, but a true gentlemen and had just celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary recently. On December 18, 1938, Malden married Mona Greenberg. Their marriage was one of the longest in Hollywood's history

That's truly amazing in a normal marriage, let alone a Hollywood marriage.

RIP  Sad

"I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It’s not on any chart, You must find it with your heart."

Albert Einstein - "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

Martin Luther King Jr. - “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - “There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.”

Mark Twain - “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
