What precisely is the difference between a motorcycle and a car?
Is this:

a car with a funny outside seat, or a motorcycle? What kind of licence are you using to drive it?

Wow, I'm not sure if I love it, or hate it.
But there is definitely no in between here.

In Britain you would need a full motorcycle licence to drive that, you wouldn't be permitted to drive it with a car licence as all the controls are bike controls
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Hmmmmmmm it might be considered as a trike though ..... if the wheel on the sidecar is driven.

Looking at the pics it looked like a fixed shaft job to me Eno... otherwise there'd be naff all space in the sidecar. I'm guessing it is on an articulated UJ to attach it to the bike.

Compare sidebike Zeus:
http://www.sidecarmaniac.nl/zeus.html
The sidecar wheel on Zeus is driving, together with rear wheel. Zeus also has 2 wheel steering.

* Modern Motorcycles are not designed, or recommended, for Sidecar attachment nowadays.

If it has more than one driving wheel, i.e the "sidecar" wheel also drives it then it is classed as a off set trike and not a bike. Then you can drive it on a full car licence (in the UK).

That was on Top Gear wasn't it? I thought the bike was at the front with the car at the back.
Stupid idea. I'd only accept it to sell it and get a nice bike
