I've been thinking of getting No Limits rollercoaster simulator some time, but I'm wondering if anyone here has used it and what they think of it.
I currently have the demo which lets me ride pre-made coasters and make my own in the editor (can't properly ride them, only use the 'on track' view) and so far it seems pretty hard to get used to. Though I do thank my many experiences with 3D modelling for this game as it does seem to pay off as I am alright at visualising all the track as it should be and I see beyond the patchwork of lines and dots.
What do you think of it? I've got Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 but I find it too be too limiting - It goes where it wants, not where I want it to.
Cheers.

No Limits is amazing. Very complicated at first though. Building the ride itself in that wire-frame mode is the easy part. Smoothing the ride out; Getting the track actually smooth, is a bit more difficult.
In my opinion? Totally worth it.
And, to get you a little more used to the design and workings of the simulation; If you have a bit of extra cash, check out Scream Machines. It's extremely similar, but much easier to get the hang of. A tad simpler in the fact that you can't get as crazy with the supporting structures, but not as simple as Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Let me add my support to Isak's statement. No Limits is incredible: FACT.
Once I get things ironed out, I will be uploading a few of my creations (by a few, I mean two, but both are very high quality rides) for you to check out. Until then, I highly recommend No Limits.

You gave me an urge to reinstall this wonderful sim. I'm gonna go do just that and make a quick coaster to show off
