Hi im having a problem with the abacus fly the airbus fleet a319/a320 model the alerion controls are awfull the control is not sensitive at all i takes ages to get to a 30 degree bank and is simply not manouverable. Is there any way i can fix this like copying something out of the aircraft cfg file from a aircraft that works well ?
Ever since i installed this it has always done it and its simply unflyable
Im using fsx sp2 on a vista 32bit sytem
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's a simulated fly by wire system, you inputs are fed through a computer and it does what it wants,  your controls are merely suggestions.

Read about the system and you'll learn to fly the plane correctly.

Is this the FMS You are talking about ?
I have read the FMS & The abacus manual and it doesent seem to say anything about the Alerion control
What do i need to do to make the control more sensitive

Have you tried switching off the FMS?

And just a guess: have you unchecked auto-rudder?

well, that should be mentioned in a good read-me or instruction for the plane but since I don't know it I can't tell...  Embarrassed

Have a look through the docs that came with the bird; maybe you'll find some info...  Wink

Are you talking actual performance, or visual appearance of the ailerons in flight vs on the ground.?   (i.e., you see more aileron movement on the ground vs when in the air, in spot view)

Hi thanks for the reply.
It is a performance is issue. I get full range of movement on the ground and once i takeoff i get restricted to very little movement.
