Saw it a while back, but that guy is so lucky. Just goes to show why you shouldn't shoot targets which might fight back.

That's extremely unlucky, what are the chances of that!

wouldn't the bullet have to ricochet multiple times? because i can't see the bullet magically turning around. Which makes this even more unlikely. and lucky on his part.

I would think that you count on one hand the people in this world that have been hit by a .50 cal round, get up dust themselves off and go home

It really happen to me ,My mother who lives in the house next to mine was always thinking I was shutting with my gun ,there was the beginning of December and kids were using fire crackers or something in our street ,I was in my bedroom with my First wife ,we were having fun
you know! the my mother began to knock my door at 10PM noon like crazy screaming like crazy
aaalex are you shotting with your gunshot ,don't dooo it AAAlex
I went Mad ,I was laid down in my bed I point a bathroom where in construction I point the concrete wall My wife
Don't
and fire the gun and simultaneously Bang I say outch a piece of the wall must hit me but something else where burning my lower parts ,was the hot bullet in my middle leg, see this happend to a 90º angle the bullet lost all the power against the wall ..
Maybe the .50 (I thing is not a .50) hit a rock and went back to him..
is this understandable what I just said here?
I never tell this ,because the only witness haven't seen her in 14 years, was my ex, No buddy here even believe me this

I believe you! Ricochets happen all the time. Just that was a 38, at close range, not a 50 at 100 yards.
It sounded like they were hitting different targets to see the power, and shot at iron, causing it to come back. At the end you can hear them say "Lets not use iron again."

Yeah it has to be common ,what really confuse me is a .50 its tripods its too small ,I've seen it I got one as my key holder for more than ,JeZZ! 30 years
wasn't realize that , and its too powerfull bullet and above all the size where the powder is ,is like 20cm large, and
Only Rambo and Arnold can hold it with its bear hard
maybe I'm an ignorant but only huge tripods or warrior planes f-16-18-22 etc can hold and shoot this type of giant bullets who can pass thru a truck intact from the front to the end and maybe continue with 3 or 4 more cars before stop..but I can wrong
18Cm large

My friend was hit by the Jacket of a .223 bullet. The shooter shot a metal hand gun target. The lead center of the bullet pierced all the way through the target, but the copper jacket peeled back and bounced off "like a golf ball hitting a concrete wall". The copper jacket hit my friend with enough force to startle him, but did not cause any damage to the skin.
I'm not sure if this is what happened in this video, but it sure seemed like the exact same thing happened except for the gigantic bullet!
Also, Shooting a .50 cal BMG is possible with several guns. Namely the Barrett. I'm only 5' 8" tall and it took all my strength to hold this gun up, but I could shoot it relatively easily. (see pic)
