Hi i have been looking at scenery for fsx and found that flytampa have some really good scenery. But i cant seem to find any miniumum or recommended pc requirements . I run fsx at the following settings
Graphics: High
Aircraft: Medium High
scenery: High
Weather medium low
traffic medium Low
Pc specs
Dell inspiron 531
AMD Athlon 64x2 5000+ 2.6Ghz
2GB 667MHZ Ram
Nvidia 8800GT 512Mb GPU
I get a constant 20FPs with defualt aircraft in highly detailed airport (Heathrow)
I get 15-20FPS With a highly detailed aircraft in heathrow (posky 777)
Is the flytampa more demanding software than the fsx scenery or will it be ok on my pc ?
Thanks

I never had any problems running any of the FlyTampa sceneries on my mediocre pc. I am using FS2004 though...

Hi the flytampa scenery for fsx seems very highly detailed and looks like a frame eater so i am unsure if my pc would cope with it

If your computer can run FS9 or FSX, it will most likely be able to run FlyTampa sceneries.

cool sounds great then. I have also watched some videos about fsx settings and a guy said its best to turn down the scenery a little when using add on stuff as its better for the frames and still very good scenery.
I have learned that traffic programs are the worst for eating fps

That is indeed true. Especially payware traffic programs hogs down your FPS ALOT.
