LOL  Cheesy   yeah  Roll Eyes

It just gets old, when we keep getting cycles of expert doom-sayers (always check their agenda)

We're in close proximity to a giant fusion reactor (the Sun).. we sit upon a thin, recently (by geological time) cooled crust around what's pretty much a big ball of magma.. all the while the planet cycles in and out of ice-ages (before we even learned to rub sticks for fire)... and we have the arrogance to thingk that WE can alter the overall temperature.

It's like thinking that if we all rushed to the beach and peed, we could raise the temperature of the oceans..

......and thinking about it,in the early 70's there was already concern in some areas about global warming.

......and without trying to cause even more strife I loved the quote I saw the other day from an oil company spokesperson that,

"We have yet to discover the unknown reserves we know are there."

I'll try and find a link but I've honestly forgotten where I read it. I believe it may have been Alaska News in an article about how warmer temperatures in the Arctic are now allowing greater access for oil exploration.

Forget colliding planets I want to hang around for another 60 years to see what happens with global warming,no oil,no water and overpopulation.

I want to see the much vaunted 'science will save us' theory in action.

60 years, hu ?  Well.. 60 years  AGO, over-population preachers had us all dying of starvation 15 years ago..  During the 70s, the "experts" had the world running out of oil by 1990  Roll Eyes (we now know there is STILL more underground than we've used to-date)...

Funny too, that back in the 70s, the climate doom-sayers preached that man was causing an ICE AGE.. That didn't work out for them, so they switched to "global warming".. and then the silly Earth decided to start cooling again (global temperatures have gone down over the last decade)

If the Earth were a 40 year old person... humans aren't much more than a 5 second old, ingrown nose-hair. We have come, and will be long since extinct, and the planet won't even know it.

Same people has us dying off about now due to acid rain killing all plan life too Roll Eyes

Now if we can tie vested interests into a Mars collision we might just have a great conspiracy theory here!!

Think insurance,maybe.

What do you think? Can we sell it? Who will we target?? The possibilities!

Look,I gotta go. I got someone to talk to,right now!!

Not the change to the term "Climate Change", from global warming.  As long as the weather tomorrow is different from yesterday, scientists will never be wrong.

My all time favorite is Al Gore getting a Nobel Prize for his work on climate change.  Last time I checked, the last Ice Age happened many years before Al Gore and gas guzzling SUVs.

Someone paying these "scientist" salaries? I would not be happy if they get paid with tax-payers monies.

Really, these guys are a bunch of brain-farts who's predictions are worst then that of a weather man, heck worst then the predictions of a mother-in-law about how long her daughter would be married to her son-in-law.

Sadly, scientist have been around for long and always bring out new predictions to cover up their old predictions that never happened.

I am pretty sure I saw "scientist degrees" going for discounts at Walmart.
