I've made my first payware purchase and am having some issues installing it. I get to the actual instal and a window pops up that says "Cannot install this program. Please select you correct Mic. Flight Sim directory."

I've tried running it as the admin. and sending it to my FSX/Sim Objects/Airplanes folder with the same result.

I've asked the people at Wilco but am impatient to fly this beast.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running FSX on Vista if that helps.

Having you only tried directly to the fsx/simobjects/airplanes/ folder?

If so, try the main FSX directory and see if that fixes the problem

Yes it worked. Thank you.

Now the issue is whenver I select it, FSX crashes. It just vanishes and goes to my desktop. I tried starting in a different plane and switching with the same results.

Eh, needless to say my first payware experience isn't going well. Undecided

I had similar problems with it. It really is not a good addon. One day I just tried again and it worked ok.

Sorry not be of help.

I must say though, even when it did work, I disliked it so much I uninstalled it, and it's never been back since.

Some things are okay, like the sounds. But the cockpit is cartoonish.

I do hope your next purchase goes better.

Yeah I read all that (before I posted here) and tried a few of the selections with no luck. I guess I can be thankful it was only $20 and not one of the $80 jobbers I've seen elsewhere.
