Hi: Has anyone had a problem installing sounds (engines) into a BN-2 with a 4-bladed prop using BN32Sn4?  Other models with 2 and/or 3 blade props work fine. I fly fs9 via Windows XP.

Which Islander is this? I've never seen one with a 4-bladed prop.

It's DIFLN32G available from http://www.m-r-software.de/ac_eng.htm which as you will know is Marcel Kuhnt's excellent website.

I've since learned that the solution to the engine sound problem is to visit the aircraft.cfg which you will find inside the BN-2B_3 aircraft folder.

When you've opened the cfg, change 'sound=4B' to 'sound='....... save it when prompted and that should fix it.  You will, of course, have to click on 'Install' to cement the change in place in the BN-2B Aircraft folder.

I'm sure you will know all this anyway.
